The DEUNA uses a Micro-11 chip and the Interlan does not. The DEUNA has a lot more internal smarts than the Interlan. UNIX does not take advantage of any of the DEUNA's capabilities, but the VMS device driver for the DEUNA is really remarkable. Also, rumour has it that there is a new version of the DEUNA coming out. It is supposed to be identical as far as the host system is concerned, but with only a single hex board, less power requirement, and more memory. Can anyone substantiate this rumour? /Kevin Carosso scgvaxd!engvax!kvc Hughes Aircraft Co.
