There may be no need to do this ... since when you dial-up a VMS system on a DECNET you can SET HOST to any other site on the DECNET, you can dial-in directly to the target site. If the UUCP software is up on both systems, no problem ! ... but if it's not ... now what ? Is this system running Eunice ? Even if you did get the VMS system to forward, how can you get it to forward *again*, to a Unix site ? This would allow use of our DECnet's dedicated, high-speed, syncronous interstate lines.
