It was never proven, and Kennyatta denied the charge. Nonetheless, he languished in prison for several years. Wonderful system, colonialism. I do not think that it was the Zulu and the Masai who were the Mau-Mau. The Zulu live much farther south, in South Africa (Anzania to the very liberal) and constitute the largest tribal group there. I would suspect (again I have not turned to reference sources) that the tribes involved included the Kikuyus, Kenya's largest tribe. Any help out there from African history experts?
