From what past history I've heard of Boston (someone correct me if they know better), the original tapes for the 1st Boston album were recorded around 1969 and just mouldered around Tom Scholtz's basement for some years until they finally made their debut album. Imagine if that stuff had been put on vinyy in 1969-- that's pretty earth-shatterring stuff for that time... Anyway, even if that semi-legendary tidbit isn't true, the fact still remains that Tom Scholtz is generally accepted to be a technical genius. Ask anyone who has played an electric guitar through his "RockMan" gadget... -----
