For very good ( := meaningful ) lyrics, I would recomend almost anything by 
Gil Scott-Heron.  I especially recommend a song called "Tuskeegee #626", 
from his "Bridges" album.  It concerns syphillis experiments which were 
performed on Black men in Tuskeegee, Alabama.  The song is 33 seconds long.
If I ever remember to transcribe it, and if there's interest, I'll post it
here.
