I like ABC's "Beauty Stab" too, but it's pretty ordinary compared with
their first album, "The Lexicon Of Love".  The first album was an excellent
and unique combination of 80's "new wave"/rock with funk, but on the second
album, the funk element is almost totally absent ("Unzip" is probably the
only song where it's really noticeable), making "Beauty Stab" more or less
an ordinary 80's "new wave"/rock album.  However, they have done a good
job of it, and I give them credit for trying something different.  In fact,
the change really surprised me because they had a successful formula, and
there wasn't much variation in style between the different songs on "The Lexicon
Of Love", so I wondered if they could do anything different.
