Golly, strange that I should see this note as I sit listening to "All
Over The Place".  The Bangles are really great.  I think they should
receive the 1984 Group-That-Sounds-Most-Like-The-Beatles award.  The
Mersey Beat tendency of the Bangles is perhaps best exemplified by the
songs "I'm In Line", "Live", and "All About You".  These girls are
very listenable.  Much more interesting than Go-Gos and most other 
all-girl SoCal type groups.
