Their sound is very 60's influenced, with equal parts Mersey Beat and Byrds like folk thrown in. As to their discography... Their debut 45 was released under the name of The Bangs. Shortly thereafter they discovered another band with the same name, and lengthened theirs to Bangles. There is a 5-song EP, originally on Faulty, now being reissued and distributed by one of the majors. Their latest LP, "All Over The Place" is on Columbia. Personally I think the jump to the big label, and the use of David Kahne as producer really took the edge off of this band, in a very negative way. The LP is OK, but get the debut EP for a more realistic sound. ... uw-beaver!eli Ps. The current bassist isn't from the original lineup.
