This entire album has a tremendous ghostly presence. Julian's voice and songwriting, as well as Phil Ramone's production are very similar to John Lennon's later works. As a whole I truly enjoyed listening to this record... but the incessent tugging from my memory was at times hard to take. It would be interesting to hear Julian play with a real band, instead of the collection of overly competent studio musicians gathered here. ... uw-beaver!eli
