It was for beloved RR and used a bear as a metaphor for the USSR saying that we had to be as strong as "the bear" to be able to defend ourselves against him (it?) if necessary. I decided that the metaphor actually made sense, but that it wasn't carried far enough. No matter how strong a person is, a bear will cause significant damage in a fight. Mankind hasn't survived in a world filled with bears by being "stronger", but by being more intelligent. Politically is it "intelligent" to hate (i.e. fear and/or wish to destroy) someone just because s/he is a {communist, liberal, conservative, facist, capitalist, homosexual, hetrosexual, atheist, religous} person??? Is it "stupid" to think that money spent on a bomber would be better used for education or food? Chris Johnson P.S. I would rather be fuzzy-headed than empty-headed.
