Lines: 14 Believe it or not.... PBS' "All Things Considered" interviewed the pastor of the Forest Hill Baptist Church in Decatur, GA who described his parish's revision of Halloween for 1984: they aren't allowing their kids to dress up as witches, goblins, or monsters (for these represent "satanic forces"), but only as "cartoon characters" (talk about the demonic!). Instead of going around asking "Trick or treat?!", the children will........ ......distribute Bible tracts. If householders then want to give them treats, why, that's alright. Shalloween, anyone?
