Last Saturday eveing I attended a party with my new (1 week) roommate. 1) I didn't know anyone other than my roommate. When we arrived at 8 p.m. there were plenty of guys hanging around and very few women. About 8:30 (I'm still sober) a woman arrives, that is not with someone else. So I think to myself, what a nice looking woman, and go over and talk to her for a few moments, seems very nice. To make a long story shorter, she seems to be taking the same interest in me as I her. However, we're both still sober. An hour or so later some (I guess) nice looking men arrive and take an interest in the woman also, no problem its a party. Needless to say the woman is taken by some of the men (I think) and occassionally comes over to say hello. THE POINT -- After about two or three hours (I don't drink very much so I'm still sober) the woman in question is quite intoxicated and being assulted by both the men who arrived and a man mid-50's (she's 23) who is slobering all over her. I came over to offer her a ride home (I knew she was dropped off at the party and needed a ride home) as I was talking (nicely) to her the "older gentleman" starts grabing at her and spitting on her. To my amazement she turns to me (realize now that I really haven't "put the moves" on her) and says "YOU COULD LEARN ALOT FROM THIS MAN." Needless to say I didn't give her a ride home or the time of day the rest of the evening. My Question: Why do women like to be treated like this. I realize I'm not Paul Newman to everyone, (I'm no Troll) however, I treat everyone like I like to be treated--NICELY. Why would anyone like to be spit apon and grabbed at? I hope that there are still some women out there that are looking for a nice person, making a good living, and wanting someone to treat them as they treat others. Replys? Thanks for your time, Sky King I'm single, and sometimes lonely
