Lot's of possibilities spring to mind-- her crispness on the phone may simply have been because she doesn't feel comfortable talking on the phone. She could have been on the way out the door, had a bad day at the office, or she might have had company that she wanted to get back to. The fact that she doesn't like phone machines increases the chance that she'll hang up and wait to catch you live instead. Or she may simply have let it slip her mind. Now comes the first rule of Chuqui: never make assumptions based on your own insecurities. If she doesn't really want to go out with you, she'll let you know. Don't make that decision for her. -- From the Department of Bistromatics: Chuq Von Rospach {cbosgd,decwrl,fortune,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo}!nsc!chuqui nsc!chuqui@decwrl.ARPA I'd know those eyes from a million years away....
