Phil> [Phil Ngai] Phil> Is the world going to end if you get rejected? Oh my *GOD* . . . > gasp < . . . you mean: Punishment? Isn't that how most *DUMB* animals are trained? Chances are you are not *really* being rejected unless they can laugh you right in the face. And then, you had better laugh too. I agree with Phil. You take your chances. `` For your own good '' is, as far as I'm concerned, just another convenient excuse. Ambiguity is for neurotic wimps, the ones who have nothing better to worry about than their own personal prestige. They are so worried about themselves, they could not possibly have any time left over to concern themselves with you. Why bother? It will probably end in flames, anyway. This basically describes something. Any person I want to have a relationship with I feel should be pleasure seeking, rather than pain avoiding. NO, it's not the same thing. It is fairly easy to tell, just compare the sizes of the lists of what they do, and what they don't do. ( got it? ) They will reject you for any arbitrary criteria.
