Summary: 

This is one of those biased polls which seem to attempt more to
communicate the poller's attitudes than to collect information.
However, in this case I think the author knows all this, and is
providing the poll to make an obvious point.  To help him out, I have
provided the obvious answers in upper case.

Dear netters,

     I have noticed (as I am sure that many of you have noticed) a basic
hostility between men and women.  This can be seen in categories such as
net.women and net.singles.  To attempt to discover the reasons for this
hostility, I propose the following survey.  Simply indicate whether you are
male or female and answer the questions.  The results of the survey will
be posted to the aforementioned newsgroups in about two weeks.  Please 
forward your filled-in answer sheet to me at:

MEN-WOMEN SURVEY
