MN Lines: 19 I have two questions about uucico. 1) I was running strings on uucico and noticed that it had a reference to a file called "/usr/lib/uucp/L.sys.cr". What, if any, is the difference between this file and L.sys? I tried renaming my L.sys to L.sys.cr and everything seemed to work the same. 2) As far as I know, uucico only knows how to dial Bell 801 type dialers. I have been putting my modem's dialing sequence into the L.sys login string. The only disadvantage to this is that I can't have uucico pick an available line to use -- the L.sys entry looks like a hardwire line. Question: Is there a way to train uucico how to use my modem's dialer so I can use ACU type entries in my L.sys and have uucico find an available line, or is there a way to not use ACU but still have uucico search for an available line. (We don't have source, or I would have found the means or patched this in myself already) Dan Messinger ihnp4!umn-cs!digi-g!dan
