I was just at a conference where people were taling about
the derivations of names of professional societies.
Somehow, the name:
	Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to UNIX
came to mind.  I guess Rob Pike should be its president.
Maybe I'll have some membership cards printed for USENIX.
Any suggestions for a logo?
