Pioneer is expected to introduce a laser unit which plays both CD audio
and CAV/CLV video discs at the January CES.  $1000.

Can anyone shed light on a previous notes rumor about 1/4" as next all-japan
VTR media standard?  This would blow away both Beta and VHS.
