I am currently working on a research paper that will hopefully define
the problems and benefits of a merit pay system for educators.  This
paper is for an English Composition course and in no way will be used
for anything but.  What I ask is some input from abroad,  hopefully
from both staff and administrators, that will help me write this paper.

Any input is welcome and appreciated.  I would like permission from
people to quote them,  but it isn't necessary.

So far,  my only input has been from a faculty member at this university
who is less than impressed with the merit system here.  I want to be
able to write an objective paper about merit pay in general,  so I need
other input from other places.

I hope I've posted this to the appropriate places.
