At $595, the product is supposed to provide integrated word processing, financial analysis (presumably a spreadsheet), database management, communications and graphics in a single package. According to an Associated Press article in today's Boston Globe, JAZZ will be available in the first quarter of 1985 and require an external disk drive in addition to the 512K 'Fat Mac'. An industry analyst claims Lotus is hoping to get about 100,000 copies of JAZZ out in 1985. To Boston area readers: The Boston Computer Society is having its Macintosh Users Group meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, November 14th) at 7 pm at the Masschusetts College of Art, Longwood and Huntington Avenues, Boston. There will probably be some more information about JAZZ there. -- Mike Simpson, BBN Communications, Cambridge MA 02238 arpa/internet: msimpson@bbnccf.arpa csnet: msimpson@bbnccf OR msimpson%bbnccf.arpa@csnet-relay usenet: {decvax, ima, linus, wivax, wjh12,masscomp}!bbncca!msimpson
