I have an early version of MacTerminal (0.2) (I would buy a new version if I could find one) and StraightTalk. StraightTalk doesn't write to disk so it is limited to ~20KB files. I tried breaking the larger files into 20KB chunks and then re-assembling them on the Mac with no luck. None of the 'cut and paste' methods could get around out-of-memory bombs. I then got my buggy MacTerminal connected and downloaded a 40KB file in one shot but, it has the logon header and trailer still appended to it so fromHex doesn't like it and I can get neither file nor MacWrite to open it so I can remove the offending extra's. Can anyone help either explain how to edit a large file or how to download and save it without the header/trailer appended? \\ Nick
