To prospective respondents to Richard Turner's request for comments
on switching from VMS to Unix: if you're going to flame, please don't
copy the whole list.  My terminal doesn't have any thermal overload
protection and I'm afraid it (or I) may suffer heatstroke from the 
excessive temperatures often found in messages relating to this topic.
