It reads a global symbol table which can be automatically generated from the linker map and produces two files; one containing number of hits for each PC value (in terms of GLOBAL_SYM + offset) and another condensed to hits for each global symbol. I was planning on contributing it to the fall decus tape, but will send it out to anyone who wants it on the net.
