XEDIT is available provided you use the SIM3278 or Yale 3270 emulator packages. The feature that I miss most in vi is the ease of writing editor macros to do special things. On the other hand vi and company have regular expressions. IBM's apporach is not as flexible but comes close. Herb Chong... I'm user-friendly -- I don't byte, I nybble....
