Anyone had any experiences using the RJE subsystem using dial-up lines??

I am looking to receive and send data to an IBM MVS mainframe.  Data 
throughput would be under 500k per day.  My application currently is
running on 3B20's and VAX 11/780's under 5.0.5.  

Any help or referrals on the below items would be appreciated.

1.	hardware requirements

2.	degree of data integrity

3.	articles, technical memos, documentation available

4.	known bugs, deficiencies, or other caveats
