I feel that there is NO excuse for capital punishment, if just for the idea that once you are dead, (as far as we will ever know) you're not suffering, you're DEAD. That's not punishment for a henious crime. Lock'em away for ever, and put'em to work breaking rocks, building highways, making plates..... (I don't believe that prisons should be the resorts that have now become, that's not paying for a crime either.) Killing for killing's sake doesn't mean a whole lot in my book...
