the real crime in all this is not that there are too many
people, etc. etc. or no birth control .
The problem was KNOWN and IGNORED by our government for
several years. The soviets were just as bad: they
sent weapons not food (or trucks to get the food to the people).

In fact, that country's government spent quite a bit of cash
on a 10th anniversary of their little revolution celebration,
rather than spending the cash on food.

The solution as I see it is to stop using food as a weapon and
have a little charity for those less fortunate than those of us
in the good ol' USA.

and maybe to sterilize those who spent money on a party while 
the citizens were dying.
