Lines: 46 A Dane, a Swede, and a Norwegian were shipwrecked on a small island. They wandered all around exploring, until the Dane lifted a small rock and a genie, of all things, emerged. The genie said, "It is in my power to grant three wishes. Inasmuch as there are three of you, I shall grant you one wish each." He turned to the Dane. "What is your wish?" "It is just opening time at my favorite little pub in Copenhagen," said the Dane. "I wish I were there now." And with that, the Dane disappeared. "What would you like?" said the genie to the Swede. "My native Stockholm is so beautiful now, with the waters shining in the spring sunlight. I wish I were there, walking along the lakeside." And without further ado, the Swede disappeared. The genie turned to the Norwegian. "What do you desire?" he asked. And the Norwegian replied, "I'm soooo lonely. Couldn't you bring them back?"
