I've received a paper mail response to my question about who where
was teaching modula-2.  It's from

The rest of this article is a paraphrased summary of his letter.

He would be glad to communicate with those using Modula-2 for instruction,
but definitely prefers U.S. mail or telephone communication since he
usually uses systems which aren't tied into any mail network.

He taught "Software Engineering with Modula-2" last summer, using
the text by Wiener and Sincovec and the M2M-PC compiler.  He had
about 50 students, who liked the course and the language, but thought
the compiler was slow.  He's offering the course again Winter quarter.

He also teaches two Modula-2 courses through their Department of
Continuing Education.

Next quarter another faculty member, Partha Dasgupta, will begin to use
modula-2 in his operating system courses.  The two faculty members will
probably then switch to the Logitech compilter for the PC.

[jsq-- Presumably he meant the IBM PC.  Announcements for the various
courses Prof. King is teaching involving Modula-2 were included.
Incidentally, I should make it clear once again that I don't teach
courses (I'm staff):  I'm just collecting and redistributing information.]
