Emacs rmail.ml places a field in the message that looks like the following: From: Martin Lee Schoffstall If my message is going to cadmus!seismo!root@sri-unix.ARPA I have a problem due to the fact that cadmus does not touch this "From field". When the message gets to root@sri-unix.ARPA he thinks that seismo knows how to talk to cadtroy (which it doesn't). I believe what cadmus should do the following (though this is not my area of expertise): From: Martin Lee Schoffstall . I could also change rmail.ml on cadtroy so that instead of generating schoff@cadtroy.UUCP it would generate cadtroy!schoff. Please send me mail if you have any comments or suggestions. marty {wivax, seismo, harvard, bbncca, twg}!cadmus!schoff cadmus!schoff@seismo.ARPA
