[Flame on!  A moment of respectful silence for Microsystems, please.]

(No offense meant to PC Tech Journal subscribers -- how would you like it if
 your PC magazine was suddenly switched to "Hot CoCo" or something of similar
 interest to you!)

Those of you who recently received the letter (postmarked November 9, 1984,
Farmingdale, NY) from (anti)Tech Journal may be interested in this reply.  I
would urge all of you to follow the last paragraph of this letter.  (Use
brown paper and a discrete return address.)

Sirs:

I will not accept a single issue of PC Tech Journal.  Cancel my Microsystems
subscription immediately and refund the balance.

I do not think replacing a general purpose computer magazine with a machine
specific one is honest or acceptable.  I do not approve of your predatory
business practices and will take special care to never again purchase another
Ziff-Davis publication, whether by subscription or at the newsstand.

I also think it is dishonest of you to set the deadline for cancellation on
the business day following your mailing!  I received this notice on November
14, two days beyone the deadline, three business days after you mailed it!

Any issues of PC Tech Journal received will be returned to you C.O.D.!
