It is possible to have a hiresolution bitmap located UNDER the BASIC or KERNAL roms without actually switching off the rom in question. The VIC chip appears to be reading the RAM no matter the ROM is switched on. This is very useful, for now a bitmap can be located under the kernal while all interrupt routines remain working...
