I know how to do this on a VIC 20. On the VIC the system initializes a countdown timer at location 37158-9 to expire every 1/60th of a second. I just poke a slight correction to the low order byte, and can tune it to about a second a day. Is there an equivalent location on a C64? When I peek at the CIAs (where I expect to see the value) I don't see an appropriate looking value. -- Ken Mandelberg Emory University Dept of Math and CS Atlanta, Ga 30322 {akgua,sb1,gatech}!emory!km USENET km@emory CSNET km.emory@csnet-relay ARPANET
