I didn't think that I remembered anything from 19 years ago, but I remember that blackout. I was 4 years old and living in Manhattan. All I remember is my brother (2 years older) and I sitting on the floor in the kitchen, in front of the candles, singing to keep from being scared. I also remember looking out of our 10th floor window and being amazed that the traffic lights weren't working and that all the other buildings were dark.
