Lines: 17 Ironically, it was Johnny Carson who gave the best demonstration of the concept of "billion" I've heard. He read an article that someone had written that explained how long ago 1 billion seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, and dollars were by giving relevant events in history. After hearing all the others, the horrifying one is dollars. 1 billion dollars is 10.5 hours ago for the Federal government. That's how long it takes them to spend that much (... pop goes the weasle.
