I'd then like to be able to mark as read all the articles up to that one so they don't show up again in my next '='. I've tried 1-.j with disasterous results, it junked a couple of hundred expired articles! Incidentally I had always presumed that having you full name in a .name file was standard, rn uses .fullname. It also presumes that your mailbox can be found from the enviroment variable MAILNAME where I though MAIL was normal.
