No one is posting "checkgroups" messages; Gene Spafford gave up due to
the volume of return junk mail/flames.

Are you volunteering, Ken?

Alternatively, could the text of the checkgroups message be posted to
this group or mod.newslists so that 2.10.2 sites could apply it locally?
