We received a newgroup message for "net.applic" here just a few days
ago.  I don't recall seeing any discussion about creating such a group.
My attempts to send mail to the poster of that control message
have also failed, including an attempt to send mail back along the
path the message took to get here.

I can only assume that the group was created in error, so I am sending
out a rmgroup message on it.
