I recently heard from a friend about an enormous system of natural caverns which were apparently just discovered (by someone at Columbia University?) in the region of New York City and northern New Jersey. I would like to know if anyone has any additional information about these caverns, especially their depth below ground level and a map of the areas to which they extend. clyde!bonnie!jmm J. M.
