Our netlink has been down for about a week and the news is just starting to
dribble back in. This is probably pretty old by now, but here goes anyway.

It's hard to imagine that Mark thinks the Romans vanished without leaving
written records. Such abysmal ignorance is stupefying.  Where are their
writings ?????????????  IN THE LIBRARY, YOU ASS !!!!
