Hi,

	In a paper entitled "A process for the determination of addresses
in variable length addressing," Communications of the ACM 19, 6 (June 1976),
335-338 Gideon Frieder and Harry J. Saal make frequent references to the 
following paper:

	Frieder, G., and Saal, H.J. On the determination of addresses
        in variable length addressing. Report 9, IBM Israel Scientific
	Center, Haifa, Israel, 1974.

Does anybody know the availability of this referenced paper? If it is available
for public distribution how would one obtain a copy?

	The author's last know addresses where the following: Gideon Frieder's
address was SUNY at Buffalo Computer Science Department and Harry J. Saal's
address was IBM Israel Scientific Center, Haifa. I have written to the addresses
supplied by both authors but received no reply. Could somebody please help me
loacate either the paper or the authors.
