Statistics Lines: 12 A brief in yesterday's Trenton Times noted that New York City had given up installing artificial turf in Shea, as doing so would require the placement of a four foot foundation under the surface (apparently due to swampy conditions). City officials were reported to be concerned that it would now be more difficutlt to attract a football franchise. However, as far as I'm concerned, it's cause for celebration.
