Sorry if this has been asked/discussed before
but:

What kind of energy source powers the TARDIS?
What is known about it?

I know that sometimes the Doctor jettisoned or
converted rooms into energy for extra "thrust"
in emergencies.

I thought I heard the name of the energy
source mentioned in "Four to Doomsday."
