Jimmy Lee is the offspring of Edward and Beatrice (who
recently died, and that was the murder investigation that
had everyone panicking), who had an affair many years back.
Jimmy Lee (that's not his real name, but I forget what
that is) came to Port Charles a while back to get even,
but ended up working with Edward.  Still, the relationship
has been rocky, and I guess you know the recent developments.

Now, I'm not absolutely certain about the Bible page, but I
think this is how it goes.  Edward's wife was married before
she married Edward, and the Bible page is the proof of that
marriage.  Supposedly, Mr. and Mrs. Q. were only married a
few years ago (they kept it secret from Mrs., claiming
it was a sentimental remarriage).  So that makes Alan illegitimate,
and not the legal heir to the Quartermaine fortune.

And this is where Celia comes in.  Celia is Edward's niece.
And because Alan is not the legal heir, Celia is.  That is why
everyone was so desperate to keep the page a secret from
Celia and the general public.  It would have meant the entire
fortune going to Celia and away from Alan and Alan Jr.  Jimmy Lee
is in love with Celia (or has been, at least), and the 
Quartermaines thought she might have been in on the blackmail
plot Jimmy Lee pulled.

Hope this answers your questions.  Also hope I was right about
the Bible page.  If I wasn't, I'd appreciate the correction.  I'd
like to know too.  By the way, the Bible page is no more; Edward
burned it.
