Can someone give me recommendations on where to look for information
about filters and filtering, digital and otherwise? I've done the
signal processing from a purely mathematical end (let's hear it for
the Fourier transform!), but have little practical experience with
real world components.

My interest is in understanding the filtering done on CD players. I
am also interested in finding out about cross-over circuits in speakers,
and the filtering done in equalizers.
