	Does anyone out there know why a 305 chevy engine pings on
	90 octane unleaded gas?It started after I gave it a tune-up
	& rebuilt the carb.People tell me that it is running to lean
	but I have not changed the jets.Could the float level be 
	causing this?

	OTHER INFO:
	pinging at the lower RPM's
	same heat range plugs I think(no cross reference).
	they were BOSCH now CHAMPION.
        timing is set to speks.

	Does anybody out there know the cure for this disturbing problem?
