Sad to say, Kenwood - manufacturers of comparable-quality food mixers - has also been bought. [That's KenWOOD, by the way, not to be confused with the Sears label KenMORE.] I believe it was Farberware who bought them, and some of the attachments for the Kenwood mixers are already unavailable.
