You sound like my friend Pam, who has had braces for SEVEN years for the same reason. However, a few weeks ago, she had her lower jaw broken (surgically :-)) in two places and pulled forward to meet her upper one. She's been wired shut while everything heals (and lost over 20 unwanted lbs in the process) and will be unfastened next week. She has to stay in braces for another 6 months, but her surgeon and orthdontist swear she'll have a perfect bite... Now for the net.cooks connection - Pam has a great recipe for...
