"If you don't want them to oppress you, don't oppress them." Oh, how I wish
it was true! I would be the freest man on the planet! However, it is definitely
not true (shall I use the trivial example of the Soviets?).

These //idiots// are doing their damnest to take away MY rights to live MY
life as I want to, thru their influence in state legislatures, local school
boards and their influence in national politics.

They want to oppress me by other, more subtile means. Christians that I run
into on the street (or thru their mailings) assume me to be a fellow Christian.
When I inform them that they are incorrect and that they shouldn't be bothering
me, they get very huffy and offended as if I had the GALL to not follow their
faith! This attitude of "we know what's best for you" (paternalistic) is
the same attitude that has started at least the last two world wars and
has been the largest singular force in the history of man keeping him an
ignorant savage.

Do you want to know the FASTEST way to get rid of a Jehovah's Witless? Tell
the person in a very smooth and calm tone of voice that "I'd really like to
discuss these ideas with you, but I just don't feel like getting violent
this morning." (disclaimer: I'm only threatening in that I'm a little taller
than the average male - I don't look like some hulk who is about to snap
your neck, et the eyes and throw the rest away...) After I told that to the
person who came to my door that morning, I recieved a very quick apology and
was left alone. I also have not been bothered by them again (yaa!).

Let's go back to religions that aren't into prothelitizing(sp) about their
religion - back to ones that keep it locked away in the dark like we do
for all the other disgusting things that people do.
