Thanks to all who sent me copies of the ogre manual page - I played several
times last night and lost quite consistently - but at  least I had an idea
about what was going on!  

What sort of strategy do you folks use?  It seems that immobilizing the
beast is the key to success - thought I would try beating up on a small
ogre to gain experience but it simply ran through my defenses - nasty
business, that.  Any other bright ideas?
